Morocco is a country filled with contrast: from the tranquility of the hidden gardens and the solitude of the Saharan sands, to the relentless bustle of the medina. Also belonging to this list are the High Atlas Mountains, covering parts of Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia. Apprized for their snow-capped peaks and valleys and home to Berber populations living in villages crafted out of the natural surroundings.
Beautiful but barely made roads lead us through the mountains, showing us a tapestry of colours. And although the red will never be as red and the grey will never feel as earthy, we tried to capture every mountain top, every moss and every tiny tree the best way possible – straight out of a tour bus and on 35 mm.
